NORTHERN VIETNAM TOUR 2025
HANOI - LAO CAI - SAPA - FANSIPAN
Tour Duration: 4 Days 3 Night
DAY 01: HANOI (Lunch - Dinner)
Morning: Tour guide will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Start the journey by exploring Hanoi’s famous attractions:
Tran Quoc Pagoda - the oldest pagoda in Vietnam with a history of 1,500 years, located on the sacred islet of Kim Ngu in West Lake, surrounded by legends and myths of West Lake and Truc Bach Lake.

Continue to visit Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge, Hoan Kiem Lake, where you can directly see the legendary turtle, 2.1m long and 1.2m wide, displayed at Ngoc Son Temple.
Then visit the Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first university, featuring 82 stone steles of doctorate laureates, still preserved as national treasures.
Evening: Enjoy free time to explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter, stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, and shop at the bustling night market.
DAY 02: HANOI - SAPA - FANSIPAN (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner)
Morning: We depart for Sa Pa - once called the “Summer Capital of Northern Vietnam” by French. On the road 245km-long Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, there are opportunities enjoy the stunning scenery of the Northwest along the way with a few rest stops and take the pictures. Upon arrival in Sa Pa, enjoy a local lunch.
Afternoon: We head to the Fansipan Legend cable car station to begin your journey to the "Roof of Indochina". The modern three-wire cable car system, inaugurated in February 2016, offers a breathtaking ride through a sea of clouds, with panoramic views of Sa Pa town, Muong Hoa Valley, and Hoang Lien National Park. Visiting Bao An Pagoda, then climb nearly 600 steps to reach the summit of Mount Fansipan at 3,143 meters above sea level. (Cable car ticket not included.)

Evening: Free time to explore Sa Pa town by night.

DAY 03: SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE - LAO CAI - HANOI (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, we starting walking tour to visit the Cat Cat Village, home to the H’Mong ethnic group. Discovered by the French in the early 1900s, this charming village was once a retreat for colonial officers. Highlights include a visit to Cat Cat Hydropower Station, the village waterfall, and the chance to learn about the unique traditions of the locals, such as weaving, blacksmithing, silver carving, and the custom of bride-kidnapping. 
After the visit, we return to Lao Cai city for lunch and a short rest.
Afternoon: Free time for shopping at Coc Leu Market and taking photos at the Lao Cai - Hekou border gate, which connects Vietnam with China. We then drive back to Hanoi, taking in the majestic scenery of the Northwest one last time. Upon arrival in Hanoi, enjoy dinner.
Evening: Discover the vibrant culture of Hanoi in your own way, enjoy music of local street bands, explore the atmospheric Old Quarter, and indulge in Hanoi’s finest street food.
DAY 04: HANOI - NOI BAI AIRPORT (Breakfast - Lunch)
Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel before starting the day with a visit to:
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, one of Vietnam’s most revered landmarks, stands as a powerful symbol of the nation’s history and independence.
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Monday and Friday mornings.
Presidential Palace is a part of the Presidential Palace Historical Site complex, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked between December 19, 1954 and September 2, 1969. Recognized as a special national relic site, the complex is likened to a museum featuring the life of President Ho.
Presidental Palace closed, but the house of Ho Chi Minh and adjacent grounds are still open to visitors.
Ho Chi Minh Museum displays a huge number of documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh as well as the cultural and revolutionary heritage left by the late president.

One Pillar Pagoda is a tourist destination that attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, this pagoda is a special place that preserves many important traditional values of the Vietnamese people. During the war in 1954, the One Pillar Pagoda was demolished by invaders’ bombs. Right after that, the government made a major restoration based on the drawings from the Nguyen Dynasty. Since then, the unique pagoda has been continuously embellished and preserved as a cultural, historical, and architectural heritage of Vietnam.

Enjoy shopping at Dong Xuan Market, the largest wholesale market in Hanoi.

11:30 AM: Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your departure.

Depending on actual conditions, the order of visits may be adjusted to ensure all listed attractions are included.
TOUR PRICE INCLUDES:
- Modern air-conditioned transportation throughout the trip with a friendly and experienced driver.
- One-time entrance fees to all sightseeing spots as listed in the itinerary.
- Complimentary water and towel on the bus: 1 bottle of 500ml mineral water and 1 cold towel per person per day.
- Professional and dedicated English-speaking tour guide during the tour.

Main meals featuring local specialties
- 3-star hotel accommodation as mentioned in the program, based on twin/double sharing.
In case of odd number, triple sharing will be arranged.
Sa Pa hotels: May Ho, Luxury, Delta or similar.
Hanoi: Anise, First Eden, Moonview or similar.
- Travel insurance with a coverage of up to 30,000,000 VND per case.
TOUR PRICE EXCLUDES:
- Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone, beverages during meals
- Tips for the tour guide and driver
- VAT (Value Added Tax)
- Fansipan Cable Car ticket: estimated at 800,000 VND (~31$) per person
- English or Chinese-speaking tour guide, available at 2,800,000 VND per tour (~107,12$).
CHILD POLICY (Based on Year of Birth):
- Children under 6 years old: Free of charge (maximum 10% of total adult group size). Includes travel insurance, a seat on the bus/train, drinking water, etc.
- Children from 6 to 10 years old: Charged at 75% of adult tour price. Includes meals like adults, a seat on the bus/boat, entrance fees, and will share a bed with parents.
- Children 11 years and above: Charged as adults.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- After registration, any cancellation will incur a 50% charge of the total tour price.
- Cancellations made 5–10 working days prior to departure will incur an 80% charge.
- Cancellations made within 5 days or no-show will be charged 100% of the tour price.
- Late arrival on departure day is considered as no-show and subject to 100% cancellation fee.
The time-frames above are calculated based on working days only, excluding weekends and public holidays. If the tour or service is canceled due to force majeure (natural disasters, epidemics, flight delays or cancellations, etc.), the company will refund the unused portion of the tour/service. We shall not be held responsible for any additional compensation beyond what is refunded.
PAYMENT TERMS:
- 1st Payment: 50% of the tour price must be paid within 2–3 working days after reservation.
- 2nd Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least 5–7 days before the departure date.
NOTES ON ACCOMMODATION:
- Standard hotel check-in time: after 3:00 PM; check-out time: before 12:00 PM.
- Room arrangements at hotels/resorts are subject to availability and may not be adjacent, on the same floor, or match the guest’s bed type preferences (e.g. twin or double). However, we will do our best to accommodate special requests.
HEALTH CONDITIONS & TRAVEL DISCLAIMER:
- Guests with preexisting medical conditions (e.g. heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, vertigo) are advised to bring their own prescribed medications.
- Travelers aged 80 years and above are not covered by travel insurance. Participation is subject to company review based on health condition and must be accompanied by a family member.
- By booking the tour, the customer confirms that they and their travel companions are physically and mentally fit to join the program, and do not suffer from infectious diseases, mental illness, or any condition that could impact other guests.
- The guest agrees to waive all claims, legal liabilities, and compensations against the company and its staff regarding health issues arising during the tour.
- Any health-related expenses beyond travel insurance coverage (e.g. hospital fees, extended accommodation, special transport) are the guest’s responsibility.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Pack light for convenience during travel.
- Vegetarian meals can be arranged in advance. However, guests are encouraged to bring personal vegetarian snacks to suit their taste.
- This is a package tour. No refunds will be given for any unused services.
- We recommend leaving valuable jewelry at home to avoid loss or damage during the trip.
- The itinerary and order of sightseeing may change depending on actual conditions such as weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
- In case of insufficient group size (as specified in the tour details), the company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the tour with notice at least 5 days before departure, offering either a new date or a full refund.
MEDIA CONSENT:
Photos taken during the tour may be used for the company’s promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your images used, please inform our staff in advance.
RECEIPTS & INVOICES:
If you require a VAT invoice, please notify us no later than 10 days after the tour ends.
